The hot spring is excellent (even though the main indoor pool was a hotter than the super-nice temperature on previous occasions), breakfast is good, rooms are comfortable (although aircon was not working well this time and one had to sleep with open windows, it was reasonably quiet), convenient parking nearby"

"I booked a compact room usually these are very small but comfy. This was downstairs with only 1 other room close by. Spacious quiet and comfortable. Also cool which was nice as its unusually warm in Buxton. The piano playing in the lobby is a lovely touch "

"The venue is amazing and located in a beautiful area. The reception area and lobby are really nice areas and the bar and restaurant are lovely too. The food in the restaurant was fantastic a d the staff were brilliant everywhere. The spa facilities, pool, sauna, steam room and indoor and outdoor jacuzzis were fantastic. "Comfortable and quiet rooms, friendly staff and decent bar area. Handy if flying from Manchester or spotting at Southside. Cheap parking, which is a rarity these days. "

"We had a lovely two night stay at Losehill. Ideally situated if you want to walk up Losehill or Mam Tor and Edale is a 20 minute bus ride away. The bus can be caught from the bottom of the lane. The service from every member of staff we encountered during our stay was outstanding. The food was excellent with amazing views as you eat."
