"Das Hotel ist sehr schön gelegen, oberhalb der Stadt Locarno, an einem Hang mit toller Aussicht. Besonders positiv ist, dass man das Stadtzentrum in etwa fünf Minuten zu Fuss erreichen kann, was sehr praktisch ist. Auch der Spabereich sowie die Gartencafés sind sehr hübsch. Einzig ein kleines Gym. Einziger wirklicher Minuspunkt ist jedoch der Rückweg: Vom Zentrum zurück ins Hotel muss man einen ziemlich steilen Aufstieg in Kauf nehmen, was je nach Kondition etwas anstrengend sein kann....

"I was greeted warmly at the front desk and advised that I had received a room upgrade! Our room was clean and spacious with a fridge and a small balcony. The bed was very comfortable too. Self-parking was easy with access to the hotel via a lift. We were centrally located in Locarno and close to the waterfront walkway which made for a pleasant evening walk. We were offered a 10% off coupon for breakfast but did not end up using it. Friendly hotel - we would definitely stay there again!"

"Property was perfect for us. We stayed in room 50 with an awe inspiring view. That was the most important feature for us. Our room was spacious and clean. With a large bed, two twin beds pushed together, very supportive and comfortable. Hotel Muralto is an older property that has been well cared for and updated. "We stayed at the hotel in March 2026. The hotel is dated, but clean. The staff were nice. The hotel rooms were clean. But the heat was so high it was very uncomfortable to sleep. Pillows were so soft your head was on the bed despite the pillow. The hotel and staff and patrons looked right out of 1970’s Lawerence Welk show. From the way we were served, to the food"
