"Charming place to stay with a lot of character. The buildings and grounds are delightful and well kept. We enjoyed a few key things: - walking distance to renting kayaks, paddle boards - walking distance to State St and many shops and restaurants - view of the sandy beach from the hotel - many room options - spacious guest room with a micro-wave. "Though there were renovations going on on the outside of the property, the inside was fine & the construction did not add noise while we were in our room. Room was clean & bed was very comfortable Staff was very friendly & helpful. Breakfast service was very nice. And free parking! Location is fantastic- can walk to pier & beach as well as downtown."

"Everyone couldn’t have been friendlier and customer service excellent. The only 2 downsides were the restaurant Costa and when checking out the printer at front desk wasn’t working. Both mornings we went to Costa for breakfast and my friend ordered a toasted bagel with plain cream cheese and both times it had to be re-prepared. Also, please use real Crab in Crab Benedict, not canned!"

"Property has a very quaint feel to it, easy walk to the beach and State street. Only negative was that the hot water took almost 10 minutes to warm up (in the shower). We have stayed here before, must have been a fluke thing.... Overall great property to stay at, highly recommend."
