"The boutique style hotel is very cute, great location, the staff is very friendly. The room was clean. The pool area is small but very comfortable, especially in the evenings the outdoor fire pit. I do believe that we overpaid for the property per night. It is very expensive but it seems like everything in Laguna Beach is expensive. I definitely would stay here again."

"We loved our stay at The Tides Inn. Anderson was especially friendly and helpful in helping us navigate our stay. We had a room with a kitchen and it had so much charm and it was quite spacious. It's a 2 min walk to Heisler Park and the beach and only a bit longer to main beach. We borrowed beach towels, a boogie board, and an umbrella all from the front desk. "My issue was that a bride and several of her guests checked in to get ready for the wedding. The staff would not allow them to take their own luggage to the room and then they lost it and couldn’t find it to bring it to the room making the bride late for the wedding. Unacceptable."

"Very minimalist hotel. Our room in front was extremely noisy due to constant street traffic as well as fire and ambulance sirens. Didn't get much sleep. A/C leaked water into room. Walk in shower was a nice feature but shower wall with hairs on it was a turn off. "We enjoyed our stay at Costa Art Hotel. The rooms were nicely updated and very clean! Beds were very comfortable! Pool area was a little smaller than expected. "This place in run down and in disrepair. I didn't expect the Four Seasons but for $500 a night I thought the place would be acceptable. The rooms were clean enough but the furnishings were old and some were broken. Don't expect housekeeping unless you pay extra. "The view from our tower king room was amazing! The staff was especially kind and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and the afternoon wine/cheese/snacks bar was a highlight along with the unending supply of passion tea. We would definitely return. Our only slight critique is about the slow and sketchy WiFi."
