"We loved the staff at this hotel and the beautiful grounds in a quiet area. The pool was fantastic and on-site dining options are excellent, especially for tired travelers in need of relaxation. "Rome was a highlight of our trip and it was ALL because of hotel Ripa Roma. The location in Trastevere was perfect. We walked to all the sites and had so many restaurant and cocktail bar options. The restaurant in the hotel was also good and hosted an awesome happy hour. The morning breakfast options were fantastic. If you have a chance to stay in room 805, the view from the wrap around terrace in incredible."

"Our hosts were so helpful with giving us tips on getting around from which buses and trams to take, where to eat in the area, and some of the secret view spots! I hope you find this gem in your travels! The area of trastevere had many amenities, the cafe just down stairs was a great breakfast stop, and a good place to pick up bus tickets. A short walk will take you to many restaurants. "

"The good: relatively inexpensive, a clean and newly updated room, my own sink, a clean shared bath/toilet in good condition, friendly host. The bad: No air conditioning, no WiFI, traffic noise made it hard for me to sleep, far from central Rome, I couldn't figure out where to check in without asking the gardener (go inside the single level building around back)."
