"The only reason to stay at the hotel is because one needs to be close to the airport. From that perspective the hotel works well. The Hatton Cross tube (subway) station is literally just across the road. The cost of a taxi or Uber to the airport terminals would be unattractively high: one might as well pay a bit more and stay at a hotel with a free shuttle to the terminals.
