"Very well-located hotel in the Cannaregio area, a charming and very local neighborhood of Venice. It is just steps from Vaporetto Line 1 and only about a 30-minute vaporetto ride to Piazza San Marco, making it easy to explore the city while staying away from the crowds. I highly recommend this hotel, especially if you are traveling with luggage as we were. Its proximity to the vaporetto stop means you can reach the hotel without having to cross any bridges, which is a huge advantage in Venice....

"The breakfast each morning was fantastic. We did travel in the middle of the summer during a heat wave, so despite an air conditioner in the room, our room was incredibly hot and humid. After we had too many hot nights with an air conditioner not keeping up, we complained and were moved without an issue to one of the coldest rooms in the property. They even moved our luggage. "Finding a room for a family of 5 can be tricky. This place was very comfortable for us! Access was easy after receiving instructions. We enjoyed the quieter part of Venice with quick access to the waterways. Noel is very helpful with his suggestions and directions and cleans the rooms impeccably! "Excellent hotel in excellent location in quiet neghborhood but with a lot of good inexpensive restaurants (compare to U.S,). What is important close to small canals so you carry luggage from water taxi less than 100 meters, as there are no cars in Venice. Good breakfast, there is a small food supermarket selling food, water, wines on the same square as hotel less than 100m. Rialto Bridge 10 min walk, St Mark square 15 min walk."

We were given great restaurant recommendations too. The AC was a treat, the towels were so soft, and the bed was comfortable. After checkout we were able to leave our bags until heading to the train.
