"The space itself is lovely and very comfortable to be in but the ground floor entry is dirty and not at all welcoming. We had a little trouble operating the elevator at first but we’re relieved not to have to take the stairs. Cleaning and reception staff were very helpful and accommodating."

"The rooms are modern and very clean and comfortable. As a solo female traveler I also felt very safe here and could walk around to the market, bakery and restaurants easily. I really enjoyed my stay and it was nice to have a shared kitchen where I could store food in a fridge and make coffee each morning. The staff is very friendly a responsive and helpful. They even gave me a ride to the train station when I left Catania. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to my friends and family."

Please keep in mind that there is no lift, and accessing rooms requires taking 2 sets of stairs. "This hotel is close to downtown Catania (about 2 km walk). We were able to choose between a room downstairs or a suite upstairs. We chose the suite because it had a small kitchen and a private terrace. You have to take fairly narrow spiral staircase to get upstairs but this was not a problem for us.
