"Location was convenient to walk to the old city stores and restaurants, however looking out of the window in the room was a junkyard, scrap metal and other debris The bathroom was fabulous with very modern fixtures. The electric lock system was wonderful not having a physical key was great "

"A close walk to everything! Very comfortable and quiet. Be in shape to walk up the stairs. Plan a fire escape. We were in the room on the top floor with a great view of the harbour. Hostess was exceptional. "

"Room was nice and clean….many places to eat, bakeries and a grocery store in the corner. It was near the main square. A personal welcome from the host was a great touch, we did not have to struggle with a lock box like most apartments."

Take advantage of the taxi service provided in order to aboid getting lost in the winding alleys that make up the Old City. Its unlike anything youve seen in a good way. "The Residence Stine - this one was difficult to judge. Yes it ticks all the boxes but it’s not a hotel per se - it’s a large house converted into a 9 room bed & breakfast. So lacks the full hotel services. HOWEVER, the hotel is located in a residential area 200m-300m up quite a steep incline on a narrow cobbled street. Elderly & infirm - BEWARE! Cars can’t come anywhere near the property so you are on your own dragging your suitcase(s) up & down so bear this in mind. However, having said...

"We were well looked after from the moment we arrived. Communication with staff before our arrival was great and there was always somebody available if we needed help or advice about planning trips while we were there. The room was beautiful and the hotel is right in the heart of the old town so we were near restaurants and cafes. It was also very peaceful through the night. Delicious breakfast in the small quiet courtyard was a perfect way to start day."

"I travel a lot and this was as good as it gets. We had to actually leave the lousy, dangerous apartment we were at in Dubrovnik and getting here was a treat. The staff took care of the luggage, the breakfast was great as was the dinners we had there. The staff was smart, spoke great english and thoughtful. Also they had blankets as well as duvets - and the air conditioning worked well. The location was right on the edge of old town - we park in a lot about 150 yards away and just "rolled"...

"Nous avions réservé une chambre double deluxe mais nous avons eu une chambre double standard selon les descriptions faites sur expedia.ca, aucun coin salon et les dimensions de la chambre concordait avec la standard, nous avons donc payé une chambre deluxe mais avons reçu une chambre standard. Aucun remboursement accordé pour cet écart. Il semble qu'il n'y ait qu'une seule chambre deluxe avec coin salon. Pour le reste, très bien."
