"The location was good - the room had a nice view of the water BUT for us unfortunately, we had a horrible experience. We couldn't get hold of the host and Expedia help line did not answer my messages either (Expedia still never addressed our issue - all messages are u answered). I tried calling the host and they did not answer. We had no information about how to access our room. The host finally sent a txt while I was continually calling to say they couldn't answer the phone right now and...

"Breakfast offerings were excellent but the staff doesn’t clear dirty dishes for the most part. They wait til you leave to clear the dishes. Bed & sheets are comfortable. Garden is a nice walk. Pool & jacuzzis are best used outside of the public hours. Parking lot for overflow is gravel & shoes get dirty if it rained. Not sure why the hotel doesn’t spend the $ to pave it. Swimming pool room was a sauna! Couldn’t even go into the pool because you could barely breathe the air was soooo...

"The hotel is exceptional and the area where it is located is breathtaking. While you have to pay in order to use the geothermal pools anywhere else on the island, there are geothermal pools right here in the hotel for your use anytime of the day or night! The hotel leaves little treats and trinkets in your room for you throughout most of your stay, there are incredible tasting teas with cookies in the lobby area, and breakfast was divine! We highly recommend this hotel!"

"Sehr schönes, neues Hotel mit Innen- und Außenpool, Sauna, Fitnessraum, Bar und Restaurant. Alle Mitarbeiter waren zu jeder Zeit hilfsbereit, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Einziges Manko, wofür das Hotel allerdings nichts kann, ist die Lage bzw. Umgebung. Wenn man immer mit dem Mietwagen unterwegs ist, wird man davon nichts mitbekommen. Wenn man aber gern zu Fuß unterwegs ist und ins Zentrum von Ponta Delgada möchte, muss man unweigerlich eine Straße entlang laufen, die als etwas unsicher...
