"Room was spotless, staff very friendly and breakfast was great!"

"So this hotel is absolutely amazing. In order of importance: 1) It is extremely clean and well renovated (and I’m very picky). 2) The decor and design is stunning. We came around the holiday time and the Christmas decorations were like from a magazine. 3) The breakfast was delicious - lots of pound cakes, tarts, croissants, croquettes, yogurt, cereals, freshly squeezed juices, sourdough breads, fruits, etc. They also custom the eggs to your liking. 4) Customer service is top tier. The staff always took our pictures. They celebrated my son’s birthday by bringing him a cake and singing him Happy Birthday, we were so touched. Everyone there is friendly, polite, and professional. Room service is quick to service the room. I want to specifically call out André Silva, Marta Lopes, and Thaissa Monteiro for taking especially good care of my family and I during breakfast at the restaurant. They were exceptionally attentive and went above and beyond to make my son’s birthday memorable and special. We will definitely be back."

"Really nice hotel, very good pizza and sangria! Comfortable bed and nice shower. There location is decent, walkable from the main sites but not a lot in the immediate area. There were a couple of surprises. I was surprised to see that they charge guests for coffee pods (€2 per pod- cheaper to go out and get an espresso!) and bottles of water. I would have expected a 4 star hotel to replace those daily. Make sure also that you check your bill- I was charged an extra €5 at checkout; when I queried it, they couldn't explain the charge and took it off the bill. I also just realised that I was meant to get a €10 food credit with my room rate but didn't receive this."
