"My experience at Costa Bahía Hotel Paseo Caribe was very disappointing. I stayed in a suite that, while offering an impressive view, was clearly poorly maintained. During our stay, my wife suffered a cut on her leg caused by an exposed and damaged metal support on the bed frame. The injury was not deep, but there was visible bleeding, which is unacceptable in a hotel environment. What was most concerning was not only the incident itself, but the hotel’s lack of professionalism in handling it: * The furniture was in poor condition * The “repair” was improvised using tape * There was no follow-up, concern, or apology from staff After the incident, I went to the front desk and was only given bandages and alcohol. We never received a formal apology or any further assistance. I also attempted to contact the hotel by email afterward and received no response. It’s unfortunate, because the location and view are excellent, but the lack of maintenance and poor customer service make it impossible for me to recommend this place."

While one of the rooms shown may resemble what is advertised, the room we stayed in was very different. Our room had a strong mildew smell, which made the stay uncomfortable. The space itself was extremely small—so much so that there was barely any room between the bed and the bathroom. You couldn’t even open the bathroom door without it hitting the bed. The bed was also very small; my husband could not fit comfortably, and his feet hung off the edge. In addition, we noticed stains on the sheets and pillowcases, which raised concerns about cleanliness. Overall, this experience did not match the expectations set by the listing, and that was very disappointing."

"This is the perfect place to stay in Old San Juan. It is in the middle of everything, and is beautiful and comfortable in every way. We especially loved having coffee each morning outside on the terrace over-looking the park. "

"It is in a good location, however the lack of windows make the experience weird. The staff is not too frinedly. They offer some discounts for the restaurants that are not applied. The pool is more a “jacuzzi”. I found a room for $535 dollars a little but too expensive. "

"The property was close to main attractions and restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful. My luggage arrived late and the front desk staff were very helpful and attentive. They immediately called me once it arrived and kept it safe. Overall a great stay! "

"For my first trip to Puerto Rico I stayed in one of their apartments in Old San Juan with a friend. I must say this was an excellent choice!!!!! The apartment is located in one of the classical buildings in the region right in front of la Fortaleza which meant there was round the clock security in the area which felt very safe. Great location and we where within 5 to 10 min walking distance from everywhere in old san juan. During my entire stay there we're no issues with lights going out or not having running hot water and we had our own washer and dryer. The building is perfectly preserved. If you're visiting Puerto Rico I highly recommend staying in at one of their properties. The check in was done via email/phone and it came by seamless with no difficulty in checking in. My only negative is one of our restrooms had a foul smell coming out of one of the shower drain. Aside from that I truly enjoyed my stay and recommend to stay at one of their properties"
