"Arrived at 9:30pm on day of arrival after choosing “Reserve Now, Pay Later”. Owner said he was about to cancel my reservation because he couldn’t charge my card(wasn’t allowed to) and said that he should charge me a fee for showing up “late”, I was not at all late. Went back and forth with me over the fact that he tried to charge my card before I arrived, which is not allowed, and that he couldn’t call my number(because Expedia blocked it). Inside of rooms are nice, owner is not."

"The reason why my overall rating was terrible is because I arrived to check in at 3:30pm and was told my room was not ready. I understand if I had to wait to 4:00pm or even alittle later. However, other people continued to check in and get keys, I was told to wait as my room was not ready. I was not allowed to check in until 7:00pm! I don't know why they could not just reassign the room as it is a standard room and not keep me waiting. Moreover, they were aware that they had cleaning...

"Disappointing experience—poor breakfast and maintenance issues > I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, my experience was below expectations. > * Bathroom: The bathroom was just okay overall, but the tap was not working properly, which was quite inconvenient. > * Breakfast: The breakfast felt like a mere namesake rather than a proper meal. Options were extremely limited, food did not taste fresh, and it operated on a strict first-come, first-served basis—meaning if you didn't get...

"This hotel has no front desk or physical staff, which we knew beforehand. Small glitch for us at the start when we received the text with our room number but without the code. We sent a text requesting the code and were good to go before we arrived at the property. We visit the area fairly often and found this place close to Polly's Pancake Parlor and Franconia Notch State Park. It is an older inn in good shape. Most of the first floor is dedicated to entertainment and access to a coffee...

"I don’t typically write bad reviews but this was so much worse than I expected. The first and most offensive was the intense smell of cat/animal urine. The room itself was dirty, the walls and carpeting are caked in years of visits. The light on the bathroom didn’t work. The shower was dirty. The pool and any other amenities were not accessible and that room is being used as storage. I don’t know if the other rooms are improved or renovated but this room (#1) was not updated in the slightest...
