One of the top hotels I have ever stayed. The service was nothing less than exceptional. The Reserve was the high end room in this hotel and it was worth every penny. We felt like royalty. From the greeting on the airport tarmac to the wonderful checkin. The housekeeping staff was so amazing. We have really never had this level of perfection in any other place we have stayed. The restaurants in the reserve part of the hotel were excellent and probably some of the best food on the island. You can't go wrong staying here. I'd strongly recommend! Cheers to the entire staff!

Where You Should Stay on Madeira

Every single member of staff at The Reserve, from Sergio at the pool upstairs, to Rodrigo, Diana, Mariana, and Jessica at the front desk, to Marta with room service, to Laura, Juan, and John at the Jacarandá Club restaurant, to Ron Paul out front, made me feel completely taken care of. The amenities, communication, and attention to detail for Reserve guests goes above and beyond any hotel I've stayed at. Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Madeira.

There is no single feature that stands out, meaning it is an excellent overall experience. We got upgraded to a suite with stunning views out to the ocean. The whole place is clean, well staffed and the level of service is impeccable. The spa facilities were amongst the best we have ever visited. If you want a truly relaxing break where the staff can’t do enough for you - this is the place!
