When we checked in, they placed us in a room that doesn't allow pets. They then said we had to "get rid" of our pet in order to stay there. The desk attendant was on the phone with another person who was very loudly saying that it wasn't their problem, it was mine. So incredibly rude and uncalled for in a hospitality industry. "Paid extra for a sea view, it seemed that the better rooms with a proper sea view and higher floors required an upgrade when you check in, which they kept pushing. Most of the pools were closed or dirty. The hotel is on the flight path. We had a junior suite and this has a window to a corridor, so anyone walking past looks in at the bed. Then you also have to pay extra for parking, resort fees and tax, so will have to add $60 per night to the hotel cost. "

"The room was very nice. Large area. It took a while to figure out how to work the thermostat controls and get the temperature to a comfortable area. The heat was a bit spotty in the living room area vs say the bedroom. The fireplace helped with living room heating. The comoliment of kitchenette dishes was sufficient for the time stayed. "King Oceanfront Room was spacious, clean, and updated with wooden floors. We requested the safe in the room to be fixed twice, but still did not work. The entrance door panel was broken and hanging the whole time we stayed. The bathroom was spacious, and the towels were thick and soft. The shower pressure was excellent.
