"Very old style hotel, but clean and pretty, very calm, chilled vibes. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really nice. Cocktails were not great. The rooms are adequate and clean, comfy bed and pillows. I wish they had a mini fridge as it was boiling! And AC but the fan definitely helped. Great location for Lyndhurst and lots of parking."

"After reading the reviews I wasnโt sure what to expect but we loved our stay, the rooms were clean and comfy, could do with air con though but we did stay during the heatwave to be fair. The breakfast was lovely plenty of choice other than fruit, only peach slices! The lounge area was very spacious and the gardens too. Parking very expensive but we found a car park a third of the price not too far away."

"Disappointing that air conditioning broken but great that fans provided, curtains in rooms kept drawn and chilled water in rooms. Reception staff super helpful. Car park was full but provided permits to park on street for same cost. Swimming pool great amenity with small paddling pool for little ones and separate swimming lanes for serious swimmers"

"Room spacious, bed a bit hard! Couldnโt get the smart tv working so just normal channels. Breakfast was buffet style but no fried eggs only scrambled and plenty of fruit but no grapefruit. Parking was good and secure."

"The location is lovely, access to the pool and the beach which felt private made our stay very special, we almost felt like we were in South France as the weather and the sea were very pleasant and very warm for the UK. A couple of things I would certainly improve, the room was a little tired , sofa bed in the room was stained and dirty, windows could not be opened fully so it was stuffy and hot even with the fan on. The pool is only open till 6pm, showers close even earlier, and the staff start reminding to all guests about that from 5pm, we felt rushed. The pool should be open till 7 or 8, it would be nice to have the pool bar open too. I must mention we were very surprised by the price of the basic drink like simple black coffee, it was ยฃ6 while the more complicated coffee with milk costed ยฃ12, that is extremely unreasonable, considering alcohol drinks were cheaper than that. I believe pricing should be reconsidered to reasonable level. Otherwise the staff were helpful and pleasant. We hope to be back one day."

"A beautiful room with extremely comfortable beds and a lovely bathroom too. The staff were very friendly and efficient. We didnโt eat at the hotel as there are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. It would be a pleasure to stay again."
