"This property was a dream!!!! You step out of the front door and into a medieval town. The parlor rooms were beautiful to sit in at night and talk about all your favorite sites of the day. The staff were great! We met Helga and she was a doll!!! The property is walking distance to all the sights. I highly recommend and would definitely revisit! "

"A lovely hotel within reasonable walking distance from the train station, on the Main Street into the old town. Only a short walk to the main square and shops and a great little place to base ourselves for exploring n and around Rothenburg on der Tauber. Breakfast had plenty of options and a lovely bonus was being able to order our eggs freshly cooked. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. "

"I’m a pretty picky traveler and the stay at the Romantik Hotel Markusturm was one of the most enjoyable times I’ve ever had. We felt welcomed and appreciated as soon as we walked in. Very clean, very cool atmosphere and the breakfast and service was amazing! Front desk staff was extremely helpful. I will return to Rothenburg ob der Tauber again. I will only stay at the Romantik. "

"This is an excellent option if you want to spend some time in Rothenburg ob der Tauber. This property is right next to the old city wall which runs around the old town and there is an entrance a few meters from the hotel entrance, and because it's not right in the heart of the old town, it's quite peaceful after sunset. The room was small (by north american standards) but definitely served the purpose. There are a lot of antique and old-world touches everywhere while being modern in places...

"The Burg Hotel was a gem in such a charming city lost in time! Otto was so warm and welcoming and even recommended our taxi to the Frankfurt airport. The breakfast was outstanding with homemade apfelkuchen, fresh bread assortment, meats, cheeses, and jams everyday. We had the family apartment and were delighted to find we had the run of a whole house with two bathrooms and a washer and dryer! The ground level bedroom was a welcome break from stairs for those of us who don’t handle them so well....
