Prinzhotel Rothenburg

"The hotel was lovely, very clean, and in a great location. We really enjoyed our stay. We contacted the hotel beforehand to ask about air conditioning and were told they did not offer AC. Our first night was very hot, and after complaining a few times, we requested an additional fan. The next morning, we were able to upgrade for an additional fee to a room with AC, which they do have in some rooms, and we were very happy with the upgrade. I believe there may have been a language barrier, so if AC is important to you, I recommend being very clear when booking and confirming that your specific room has air conditioning."

"Clean room No A/C, we only got lucky with that as it was mid summer. Breakfast included and it was good. Enjoyed that. 5-10 min walk to town center."

"The hotel was great and in a good place for walking. The only downfall is the location is on a corner where people were racing in cars all night and throwing bottles in the road. Many police car sirens during the night. It was hard to sleep with the noise."

"I stayed in the large chalet apartment. It’s a fairly older motif but was basically a full 1950 sq ft apartment with all the amenities of a house. No air conditioning but they provided us 4 fans without us even requesting them. It a very convenient location to access Rothenburg on foot. We had a very large patio for evening beers with a great view."

"If you like hot, quaint, no elevator, multi floor accommodations, this is the place for you. Restaurant is good and fortunately, because it's outside, you'll want to stay late and consider sleeping in the "cooler" restaurant"
