I recently stayed at Comfort Suites and unfortunately, my experience did not match the expectations set by the main floor. The lobby area was very clean and had a pleasant smell, which gave us the impression that the rest of the property would be the same — but that was not the case. The hallway on the second floor had a strong, humid, musty odor that was very unpleasant. When we entered our room, things only got worse. The pull-out couch was completely unusable — the corner of it had multiple stains and visible mold. The loveseat was also in poor condition, with threads coming out and visible dirt. We didn’t feel comfortable sitting on it without covering it first. The room itself was very basic, but due to the condition of the furniture, I didn’t feel comfortable even using the bedding. I ended up putting a t-shirt over the pillows just to feel at ease. We even went out to buy cleaning supplies ourselves because of how uncomfortable we felt. The bathroom was by far the worst part. The ceiling had visible mold, which was extremely concerning. We were in and out frequently, so it didn’t make sense at the time to go through the hassle of switching rooms, but we did inform the front desk about the hallway odor. They offered to spray, which they did, but it didn’t resolve the overall issue. Due to spring break timing, the price was very high, and it was absolutely not worth what we paid. For a property rated 7.5/10, this was very surprising
