Bahia Mar is a charming and very welcoming hotel, although I confess that when we arrived, the room we were assigned didn't live up to the picture on the website or our own expectations. However, the service was excellent, and they changed our room, which made us very happy. The hotel staff were very attentive and friendly. Overall, I would love to go back.

We were early and the building was packed as there were 15 cruise ships over the next 24 hours and the college championship game. The staff were so attentive and friendly. Wendy at the check in and Ruben at baggage were exceptionally nice and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean.

Check in was good. The bartenders at the Lobby bar were great. We found a cockroach on the curtain in our room when going to bed!!

Friendly staff, clean rooms, and so close to good food and the beach! I will book again. There is also the cutest open boat bar lounge in the Marina Market, a short walk away. If you are tall, then beware that the ceilings are not tall. I'm 5'10" and could touch the ceiling in the shower area.

The hotel is outdated and not very clean but it’s nice to walk to pool and beach. The hotel is in a convenient area enough that you can look past the downfalls of the hotel room if you don’t plan on spending much time in the room.
