"Platzl Hotel was a good choice for our party of four on holiday. One of its greatest assets is its location. The property needs a refresh, and amenities like electrical outlets at bedside need to be installed. The multi-lingual staff were friendly without fawning. The little bar and cafe at the front of the building has a very limited menu. The associated high-end restaurant was excellent."

"The location is the best part of this hotel. The Viktualienmarkt is less than a 5 minute walk, very close to tourists destinations and lots of shops and restaurants close by. Room was basic, oversized uncomfortable pillows. Appear be some work being done and awoke to loud banging coming from above. Room was very basic. Breakfast was quite good and rooftop bar offered very nice views of the city. "
