"Cosy and warm, friendly and helpful staff. Very clean room with what looked like a new shower room. The hotel itself is a bit older in style but perfectly fine for a pre-flight stop over or for playing golf locally. In fact it was only 5 mins from Royal Troon and about 15 mins from Dundonald links. Parking was easy and outside the front door - made carrying golf equipment easy! We were allowed to order in Just Eat which was convenient, but lots of restaurants in Troon."

"Lovely little hotel, looking out to field of animals, so peaceful, comfortable beds, gave a good night sleep. Staff are so lovely in the restraunt, made to feel so welcome and happy faces. "

"Beautiful if overpriced hotel, room was beautiful staff are always fantastic when we stay. The pool area could be so much better it simplest isn’t up to today’s standards especially at the price. It could be revamped to have beds facing out sea with better hot tub facilities. Staff at the spa/pool however are wonderful "

"Plenty of parking at front of hotel. Really helpful staff especially Jepson who sorted a ground floor room for me. Nice spacious clean comfortable room. Breakfast is 7-10 am so plenty of time to get served . Lovely evening meal and quite reasonably priced for a nice hotel. I asked for chips instead of rice but was later advised rice was an integral part of the dish. When the dish came i was given an extra small portion of chips😁 its the little things that make a difference. Quiet at nights no problems getting sleep"

"Lovely stay, room was great and bed was comfy. Staff were so lovely. Pool was good, although could do with a clean under the pool chairs. Breakfast was great! "

"Stayed here for 2 nights and we enjoyed our stay. The executive room was lovely and had a river view. The only downside of that was when the spa opened you could hear voices outside, especially when the spa opens early in the morning. The shower was great and bed really comfy. Breakfast in the hotel was good. They do continental help yourself and order the hot food and tea/coffee. The first morning we did wait quite a long time to order and noticed others who came in after us ordered and received their food before we ordered and it wasn’t too busy. The 2nd day we ordered quickly and received our food quickly so wasn’t a regular thing with the slow service. The spa was lovely too having been done up. The outdoor is great and indoor relaxing, the indoor pool was a little cold though! We did have messages also which were lovely. I would return again, I would just be prepared for the colder indoor pool and allocate longer for breakfast. "
