"What a great and unique experience! The ship's renovation was top notch. We stayed in the Guiness room right at the bow with a private outdoor deck, king bed, and plenty of space in the room. The breakfast was excellent with fruits, protein, and carb options. Alfonso was so nice checking us in! "Hotel was easy to find and approximately 10 minute walk from the tram station which takes you into the city centre or to the airport. Room was clean and comfortable however the walls are very thin and as such this makes for a noisy atmosphere. We could hear people coming in late at night and leaving early in the morning. However this was my only real problem with the hotel. Decent for price. "

"Kilconquhar Castle Estate was a perfect place to rest and recharge. Our cottage was great except for the mattress on the master bed. It was quite hard. The surrounding countryside was beautiful. Needless to say the food at the Estate was great. There was also great food at the Kilconquhar Inn. It was the perfect distance from St. Andrews and Edinburgh. We will definitely stay again."

"Check in was the best I've ever had! Tea or coffee with shortbread in the front room, Matthew went through all the details and gave some great info of the area, helped with bus times too. "We stayed one of the ensuite rooms with vaulted ceilings and a dormer window- you just need to remember to duck ocasionaly. It's on the second floor so you need to allow for this, not a problem for most people. We were surprised how much space there was and the view over the park was lovely. The location in Leith is much closer to the city centre than it may appear as the regular (2-10 mins wait) new tram line whooshes you to the centre in 5-15 minutes.
