"This was my second time in Oaxaca & my first time staying in hotel casa Antigua. The hotel was perfect & it’s so close to all the main attractions. A three minute walk to el Templo de Santo Domingo. Little shops near by as well. The staff was attentive & very welcoming & quick to answer any questions. When I make my way back, I’d be sure to stay here once again. "

"It was a great place for an overnight to stay for an early flight out the next day. The front desk crew and our taxi drivers were excellent. We enjoyed q quick evening taxi drive to El Centro and El zococolo"

"This property has a fantastic location to see all of the historic areas of Oaxaca. The inside courtyard is beautiful with a retractable roof and the small, but nicely appointed bar, serves refreshing cocktails in the evenings. The breakfast was fresh and made to order, although not super speedy. The room was clean and spacious (but the water pressure was a little low in the shower)! The hotel provides drinking water for all guests. The staff is friendly, but not in a rush. They were also happy to help us arrange transport any time we asked. Overall, I would stay here again and have no reservations about recommending it."

"Excellent balance between price and benefits, it has a great location about six blocks from the cathedral and about two blocks from the market. The staff is very nice and polite, I loved the pool. They have limited parking space within the hotel premises but if you pay a little extra they offer parking space around the corner ($140 which is roughly $7 usd for 2 nights), it is also pet friendly it costs $150 per day which is aroun $7.5 usd. Althought it is not sound proof and the rooms are very plain I think for the cost it is worth it, I would definitely recommend it and will use it again in the future."

"The location of the hotel is the #1 reason to stay, walking distance to anywhere, you don’t need a rental car to visit main places in downtown. Tours pick u up from the hotel! The staff is the star 🌟 of the hotel, everyone was helpful, attentive and friendly! The shower need some improvement and the room needs some renovation, like the closet. Beds are nicely firm 👍 I really enjoyed my time in Oaxaca City! It is so beautiful 💕"
