"We had a very quick stay. Arrived late but great communication and easy check in. No food options near by if arriving late. Also had heavy rain and couldn’t enjoy the beach!"

"Its a small self checkin guesthouse in middle of commercial looking area. But well managed and clean. You need to follow simple instruction to self checkin and get into hotel. No staff at hotel. Room was good enough for one night. No shampoo or conditioner so carry with you. No microwave but small fridge and kettle was handy. Wish curtains were more dark and covering whole window as it was very lighted due to sun whole time during summer."

"Das Hotel ist neu, allerdings auch noch im Bau! Wir wollten an den Strand und mussten über eine Baustelle laufen. Wir bekamen auch ein Zimmer mit nicht so schönem Blick auf Rohre, Planen usw. - hier hätte das Hotel uns echt mal ein schönes Zimmer geben können, da wirklich kaum Gäste dort waren. Die Preise des Restaurants sind viel zu hoch! Spa-Bereich war noch nicht geöffnet und im Zimmer sind überall QR-Codes aufgestellt, mit den Preisen für die Annehmlichkeiten. Das die Minibar etwas kostet...

"I wish I could have stayed more nights at South Central Guesthouse. This was easily one of the best guesthouses we stayed at during our trip to Iceland. "Die Zimmer sind relativ einfach eingerichtet, aber es fehlt an nichts. Frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr gut und auch zu erschwinglichen Preisen. Es steht ein Hot Pot zur Verfügung. Wir durften ebenfalls unser Auto kostenlos aufladen. Von der Rezeption wurden wir freundlich empfangen und auch auf die durch Expedia erhaltenen Vorteile hingewiesen."

"We stayed in a double room with shared bathroom in the white house building. The bed was not clean where one side of the bed had a strong urine smell to it even though there wasn’t any visible stain. We didn’t notice this until late in the evening when the staff was gone already. This forced us to cram 2 adults as close to the other side as possible to avoid lying on that side. We could barely sleep.."

"The room was nice and spacious, and the owner went above and beyond in service. there are two hot tube in the back, as well as a scandinavian sauna. A spacious lounge allows for viewing the northern lights, and there were snacks and refreshments to grab anytime. heavily recommend."

"This was our accommodation for the third day of our third trip to Iceland. Everything was exactly as described—if anything, it was even better than expected. We could truly feel how much care and attention the owner had put into creating this place. The view was wonderful, parking was convenient, and the accommodation was warm and comfortable. "We had a wonderful two night stay here. It is a bit away from anything which we liked, but be sure to plan accordingly. It was easy to spend the day on the ring road leaving that morning and making our way back in the evening (the never ending sunlight helped). The room is well appointed, everything you could need in the kitchen. My daughter loved playing with their two well behaved dogs. Be sure to pay attention to their directions, apple maps will take you 30 minutes in the wrong direction."
