"The hotel is lovely, a little outside of Evora ($10 Uber each way, taxi even more), but the grounds are beautiful and their renovation of a convent into a hotel was well done; but some rooms are 300 steps from the center of the hotel. The pool was beautiful and very refreshing. Our car and driver didn't show to drive us to Porto and the Concierge leapt into service, getting us another driver with a large car to carry 4 people with luggage very comfortably at a slightly lower price than we would have spent."

"The hotel was well located in the Old City, and within walking distance to both attractions and restaurants. The room was well kept and clean. The staff was great. There was a nice full breakfast buffet included. The only awkward feature was a tiny bathroom sink located under a glass shelf, leaving no room for anything but washing hands. All in all, we would definitely recommend this property."
