"The outdoor bar Gin and Juice was a tropical paradise with fun cocktails and a lovely garden setting. The Japanese restaurant was also excellent. Staff were very friendly and our room was large and beautifully appointed. We'll plan a trip to Cheltenham just to stay in the hotel again!"

"This was a night away for my wife and I. We thought the facilities and room were perfect for us. The hotel was in good repair but retained its period charm. The staff could not have been more helpful. Service in the restaurant was very attentive, and the breakfast was excellent. The quality of the food served up in the evening didn't quite live up to the high quality of the rest of our stay, but it was perfectly pleasant."

"Friendly, professional staff, lovely room with very comfortable bed. Complimentary tea, coffee and bottles of water and biscuits were much appreciated. Hair drier, iron and ironing board were provided. Great range of hair shampoo, conditioner and shower gel as well as a soap bar. Nice quality towels and good shower pressure. TV worked well and a fan to cool the room was provided. There is also a radiator if it gets cold. Guests have complimentary use of pool and spa. There is a golf course...

"We stayed at the Abbey Hotel for 4 days over the May bank holiday ,first time at the hotel .The staff were all friendly . The hotel lounges were large with comfy arm chairs and sofas with a bar area. We stayed in a standard double room 208. The bed was perfect ,the most comfortable bed we have ever had in a hotel for a good night sleep. The breakfast was included and we had a full cooked English breakfast ,it is self service and staggered times so you are not kept waiting. The food was good....

"Had a lovely stay here - large, quiet room, firm but comfy bed, lovely bathroom facilities and a very good breakfast if no allergies. Gluten free toast provided on request but no other GF alternatives available. Staff were friendly and helpful. Pool was quite a short one for length swimming, but still it was nice to have a dip! Lovely quiet area to stay in."
