"The hotel had multiple customer waiting in lobby because they didn’t have rooms available. They did not plan well for the major event going on. People had to get ready for the event in the hotel lobby bathroom and were not able to get rooms until after the event which was late at night."

"The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We witnessed one staff member offered to drive some people to their destination due to the significant cost of a rideshare. They were trying to arrange. The rooms were clean. Adequate towels. Mini fridge a microwave functioned great. Window AC unit function adequately. Furniture had some wear. We didn’t use the pool but it looked nice and clean. There’s a single laundry unit for pays you go on the third floor and ice available. Our stay was quiet at night even on a busy day due to all of the guests staying there for events going on in town. Parking was easy adequate space even on a busy weekend. We did not experience the breakfast. Be aware that the hotel does not have elevators, but there are two stairwells to access the halls for the rooms. Reminds me of Europe traveling. Not a problem for us but could be for others. The only downside was someone was smoking outside of the hotel and the window unit brought this into the room. There are plenty of signs that request people to smoke over 25 feet away from the building, so I’m not sure what else could be done to prevent this. For the value and service, we would stay here again."

"The staff was nice but the hotel smelled terrible upon walking in, like mildew. The elevator was sounded terrible, had a broken handle inside and it was also very dirty. The room was dirty and very poorly "updated". The bathroom woodwork not complete and had gaps, bathroom was dirty. I went and bought shower shoes to even take a shower. The pool was very dirty upon arrival but did get vacuumed during our stay. If you are booking wanting a pool this one has little sun any time of day and only a few outside chairs. Overall we were not happy with the stay and that was due to lack of cleanliness. Best thing about our stay was the friendliness of the staff."
