"I overpaid for the the rooms by a day and realized my mistake immediately and asked for a refund of the one day. The hotel refused. Then Air Canada canceled my flight because of the staff strike. I could not travel. I asked fora refund. The hotel declined since I did not pay extra fee for a refund. No empathy. I lost almost $700 t o the hotel without staying there.
