"We absolutely loved this hotel, we booked last minute the staff was ready and helpful the moment we got there very thorough and friendly the room was beautiful, clean and spacious the bathroom as well and the balcony overlooking the town, not to mention the jacuzzi! The place is great 10 out of 10 i absolutely recommend. "

"My daughter and I enjoyed the historical ambiance. It felt like you traveled back in time. Our room was clean, warm, and cozy. The only minor issue was having to share a bathroom, however, since we went during the off season we had it to ourselves. There are other rooms that include bathrooms, just be sure to ask ahead of time. We also got to meet the owner's beautiful dog Mocha. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. "

"Black Bear Manor is the best place I have ever stayed. The room (Room 6) is their best room, and has a jacuzzi and steam shower, which I utilized multiple times. Also, home cooked meals every morning, and they will actually sit down with you and talk to you (if you want, of course) When you come to Ouray, you have two great options for Lodging: 1) Black Bear Manor 2) Black Bear Manor in a fancy accent."

"The Wyman Hotel was a wonderful surprise — quiet, stylish, and so comfortable. We visited in the off-season when most businesses were closed until May/June 2026, which made the town calm and relaxing. A few nearby restaurants and bars were open after dark, which was perfect.
