"I am extremely disappointed with the service at Farfield. We arrived from Hawaii at 1 am in Los Angeles and the next day we were flying to San Francisco. The service was poor; they put us in a room with two small beds when we paid for a king-size bed. The air conditioning wasn't working, and when we complained, they couldn't change our room, only give us a fan! Terrible experience, I wouldn't recommend it or stay there again."

"Pleasant stay overall. Conveniently located in El Segundo - easy commute to/fro work place. Room was clean and spacious. Hotel provided free daily breakfast - simple yet sumptuous rotating between bacon, sausages, etc each other day. Front counter provided hot water, coffee, tea bags and hot cocoa for guests. Overall good experience. Be great if each room can still come with a kettle in addition to the coffee maker and optional for guests to receive disposable room slippers would made perfect...

There were repeated issues with the lock on the door when I first checked in, necessitating I take the elevator and push my large bag up and down the halls several times before it was resolved and I was able to actually get into my room at the end of the day. Other than that, the staff were helpful and friendly. However, there is a Metro rail line, very close to the hotel building, that makes loud brake-squealing noises approximately once every 15 minutes all...

"Fantastic location - right on the beach and that cannot be beaten. Very close to shops and restaurants. Staff were very nice, helpful and friendly. We received a room upgrade which was great. The only negative I can say is that the property needs some $ spent on maintenance - a few things are broken and need repair - it didn’t affect our stay but if fixed would bring this unique vintage property to a 5 star all around. "
