"The check-in desk was staffed and the girl gave us good advice of using the nearby cathedral carpark for 5 pounds a day which was very affordable considering the location! View overlooked the River Ness. Window opened to allow a cool breeze. Mattress seemed to be very worn, a little broken-down, but we were able to sleep moderately comfortably. There was a bathtub and nice hot shower. However the cleanliness of the bathroom could have been better (there was some visible mold and the bathroom baseboards needed wiping down.) we enjoyed the full breakfast every morning, one of the nicer breakfasts we had during our 2-week stay in Scotland. There was shopping and food in every direction just outside the door. We took 2 tours that left from Inverness and both met in locations that were walkable from the hotel. We loved the local Fat Buddha fish & chips carry-out!"

"It is a great place right off the freeway. The good was good. The only thing that is bad is the parking! We arrived around 6pm. No parking so I had to park across the street. It would have been fine if it wasnt just me walking back! Hahahahaha. "

"The rooms have been renovated. They were clean, tidy and simple. Both rooms were unable to get hot water for showers. The sink had hot water. This we could not figure out. Be sure to bring your personal soap and shampoo. The two staff were friendly and helpful. This loacaton worked fine for our quick stay in Dinwall."

"This is a great wee place to stay if you are stopping off or looking for some cheap and quick. The staff were amazing and super helpful. And offer use of the kitchen if I wanted to make some food. Honestly amazing! Also offered to make up a wee bag for breakfast as I was leaving early! I managed to get something before I left. Only thing I’ll say, the room could do a with a little TLC, the shower doors don’t close properly, the door handle is loose and the curtains need fixed slightly, but saying this everything is functional, and usable. As I say, it’s a grant wee handy place to stay, and friendly staff! Hopefully will pop back sometime soon. "
