"Despite some other visitors concerns I had a lovely experience. Easy to book, called a couple of times before to discuss arrival times and confirm bookings, staff were pleaseant and helpful on the call. On arrival on a busy and noisy Friday night, staff again were lovely and helpful, locals/regulars didnt stare or make us feel unwelcome, found parking right in front of the property, basically it was seamless - very welcome after a long night drive. Rooms were spacious, well-equipped and clean....

"The room as advertised is quite small. I was there for five nights and had quite a few clothes. There were no drawers to put any clothes away only four hangers. It was okay because the bed had plenty of space underneath it for me to put my suitcase and pull it out when I needed different clothes. The decor of the room was very nice, done in red, grey, and black. The lighting options were excellent with switches conveniently located. What was truly fantastic was the accessibility to the train...

"The Kelvin is always where I stay when I'm in Oban. Not only is it a convenient location next to the train and ferry stations, but the accommodations are clean and cozy.
