"The room was not in very good condition. crack in the bathroom floor, poor caulking around tub, the dishes didn't appear to be washed so I put them all in the dishwasher, couch was really uncomfortable and looked like it was sinking, the hook in the bathroom to hang things was removed from the wall and there was a hole where it had been. I bought a candy bar for my granddaughter and it cost $4. There was a $3 service fee! The refrigerator was dented on the door. There was a lot of noise in the room above us until after 1:00 in the morning. I advised the girl at the front desk and she was very kind and helpful. I'm not sure we will come to Hawthorne suites again. We loved it when it was called the Residence Inn, but it doesn't appear to have been updated or cared for since the change."

"The room was filthy. We had trouble at first with the heater, but it corrected itself after a while. To enter the lobby from our room outside, you had to walk through a bunch of people smoking. The staff was accommodating but they were not always at the desk and they were dressed like regular people with hoodies and jeans. I overheard other people cancelling their reservation due to the filth in rooms. One employee said the owners don't care and they refuse to hire staff needed to clean"
