"Our sleep was affected due to a group of other guests making noise during the night. Also the mattress on our bed was really hard so not very comfortable. Other than these issues the hotel is good for a short stop, staff are friendly, it’s next to motorway services so you can get food from outlets."

"Location of property worked well for purpose. Staff were good.
Rooms very warm, unlike the shower, stayed 3 nights, only on one occasion was the water hot, guessing the staff knew of this, when we mentioned at check out.
Greene King pub next door, ok for a pint and pub food.
Would recommend "Ye Olde Hob Inn" for a drink, great atmosphere and even better hosts."

"We stayed here for a night for a wedding reception. The shower wasn’t functioning properly and we could not close it completely. However, the worst part was it was full of mould. There was mould around the bath tub as well. The beds were ok. I would not stay here again."

"This feels like a motel, with a mediocre pub attached, which was ok as I was just wanting a bed for the night. The room was spacious but wasn’t as clean as you’d expect, Doors were banging through the night didn’t help sleep! I ate at the pub. The food was poor value really, even though my expectations were not high. When the dish arrived half the advertised ingredients had been forgotten so had to ask the staff to try again."
