"The star rating for this hotel was 4 stars - so we expected quite a high standard. We were disappointed when we didn’t find that to be the case. We wanted a double bedded room but were given a twin bedded room. There was no wardrobe for clothes - just a rail. "I spoke to the hotel on the phone, during the day I was going to check in, as I had not received the check in codes to enter the hotel. There is no one at reception after 5pm. "The staff were helpful, the environment was clean, and the stay was generally peaceful with no disturbances. However, we were disappointed with the swimming pool facilities for families with children. There was no separate pool for kids, and the main pool was 1.3 metres deep. Surprisingly, the hotel had designated this pool for family and children's swimming sessions between 7:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m., which did not seem practical or safe.
