"A grand but tired hotel but adequate for price point. Mattresses too soft and uncomfortable and rooms overheated. Decent breakfast for price. An excellent location though….easy walking distance to the station and Cardiff amenities. "

"The staff were lovely and attentive. Our room was spacious and in good condition, with almost everything we needed. There is a bus stop into the city centre nearby which was helpful for us. We enjoyed breakfast too. The coffee pod machine in our room was leaking, and we were onky provided with decaf pods which was a shame. There was also only one robe provider despite it being a booking for two people."

"We were pleasantly surprised at what a wonderful stay we had at Tanes Hotel this weekend! Considering the competitive price, the room was large and spacious. It was kitted out with everything you could need for a short stay, towels, extra blankets, toiletries, tea and coffee facilities, etc. The bedroom and bathroom were also pristinely cleaned. We were kindly greeted upon arrival, despite the late time and shown to our room. The check in and out process were also very simple. There were convenient shops nearby too. We would definitely recommend Tanes Hotel and would absolutely book again the next time we visit Cardiff!"
