"My teenage son and I stayed at ROOST during our recent road trip home and loved the whole experience. He especially loved having his own room and bathroom and we enjoyed the home-like feel the apartment offered. The view was great, with tall windows, but the shades were awesome and made watching a movie in the early evening no problem. Everything was very clean and well-stocked. Great amenities. "What a beautiful old hotel! Gorgeous architectural design inside with beautiful murals, wide hallways, tall ceilings in the rooms. The breakfast and dinner were great. Having a restaurant, The Teachers Lounge, on site was a plus!"

"Paid for lake view but wasnt on the front side so only partial. Nice hotel, strange the restaurant only had one steak option and a super expensive one, weird. Rooftop bar was closed before midnight on a holiday weekend(bummer) other than that nice location and rooms. Check in gets a little crazy and had a dog barking in the room next door in the morning. They did attempt to make it better. Would stay again. "

"The building is gorgeous and the location is great. I got sick and threw up in the bathroom, but housekeeping came fast and took care of it really well — I really appreciated that. But the WiFi was TERRIBLE. It was only around 10 Mbps and pretty much useless. I couldn’t do anything online."

"My husband & I were in town for Uncorked @ the Great Lakes Science Center! It was a centrally located hotel. The Kimpton Schofield was very quaint and suited our needs perfectly. I particularly loved this view from the lobby and the complementary wine."

"Had a good stay. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Didn’t use the valet. I paid $12.00 for three day parking in the lot right down the street from the hotel. The manager is extremely cool and makes sure you have a great stay."

"The location to the Progressive Field was great! We came to see MLB game and to go to Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Breakfast was good and rooms were clean. Building is old and beautiful so there were some things that could be updated but we would stay there again. "
