"This is a uniquely beautiful hotel. The staff, rooms and restaurants are all fantastic. We only had one issue and that was the water never got hot in Bath or shower room, it was only tepid warm- but we put that down to age of the building and amount of rooms probably using facilities at the same time. It did not dampen our stay and as forgot to mention it to reception they didn’t have the ability to fix the problem. I would definitly recommend this hotel. "

"We stayed at The Grove in December 2025 with our toddler and had a wonderful experience. The hotel felt magical at Christmas, beautifully decorated, warm and welcoming throughout. Our room was spacious, spotless, and well set up for a family stay, which made everything feel easy and relaxed. The staff were exceptional: genuinely friendly, attentive, and especially thoughtful with our little one. Dining was excellent, with great options and flexibility for families, and the grounds were stunning...

"We have stayed here several times now and can never fault the hotel on anything. The pool is perfect and my girls (7 & 9) love it - in fact it is the main reason we are staying at this hotel. Staff is very friendly, the rooms are spacious and clean. The TV upgrades were also very welcome since our last visit. Restaurant is on the more pricey side, but that was expected. Would definitely visit again."
