We spent a wonderful night here, everything was perfect from the warm welcome to the well appointed room and of course the swimming pool. Thank you we’ll ensure we recommend the Dunmow Guest House.

Romantic Getaway.

I would certainly recommend this lovely bed and breakfast with superb clean facilities and wonderful home cooked breakfast with plenty of choice. Our room was spacious with a large comfortable bed and en-suite shower room. Little touches as fresh water, sweets and fresh milk in your fridge which was not noisy at all. Also you have the added benefit of a wonderful heated indoor pool, games room and home cinema room. Unfortunately I had twisted my knee but my wife enjoyed the pool. The owners are real welcoming and look after any need. Overall an exceptional place to stay.

Short stay, super experience!

What a find! Everything was fantastic from the moment we arrived!!! Wonderful room with great bed, my wife enjoyed an early morning swim in the indoor heated pool whilst I caught up on some sleep. Wonderful cooked breakfast. Our hosts Ruth and Robert made our short stay one of the most relaxing and enjoyable we have ever had!!

A very short notice booking, which proved to be a good choice. Very friendly welcome, exceptional room and well cooked breakfast. Unfortunately I didnt have time to make use of the pool!

Without Question a brilliant place to stay!

We only stayed for 1 night but would stay here for longer if visiting the area again. The room was very comfortable and the bed was superb. We had a lovely welcome and very surprised to see a home cinema and lovely sized indoor pool. The breakfast was of high quality and was very relaxed. Without question when we visit the area again we will try to book again. It’s placed a suitable distance from the centre of the high street and can be walked. We went to a Thia in town, which was superb, again couldn’t fault. After a long journey across country we felt so relaxed the next day. Superb!

Made to feel really welcome. Nice touches like tea on arrival and offer of drinks (non-alcoholic)and popcorn for the cinema. Great time playing bar billiards in the games room. Bedroom very large and well laid out. Everywhere very clean. Breakfast very tasty with plenty of options. Will definitely be staying again.

Absolutely loved everything about our stay here. We booked just for one night prior to catching a flight from Stansted Airport (it’s a 10 minute drive there). Far superior to an airport hotel. Rob & Ruth the owners are the loveliest people who go that extra mile to make your stay special. Spotlessly clean, delicious breakfast cooked to order, large comfy bed. There is also a swimming pool & private cinema. Loads of pubs/ restaurants within no more than 15 minutes walking distance. If you stay here you will not be disappointed

Wish I had found this place earlier.

I stay in Hotels/B&BS every week with business. Dunmow Guest House has to be one of the best establishments I have stayed in whether on business or on holiday. Great hosts, great accommodation, great facilities and great food. All in all - a Great place to stay.

Lovely break. We used the cinema room with motion seats and it was fantastic. The couple who run the guesthouse are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast was 5 stars. We will definitely be going again. Also a box of chocolates on our bed when we arrived.

Best ever

Quite simply this is the best family run guesthouse I've ever stayed in. As a traveller I stay in lots of hotels and guest houses. The attention to detail was superb, the cinema room, swimming pool and the roof top garden were excellent features and the location in a quaint little village was superb

While it was about minute from airport, it was worth it. Great host, clean rooms, theater, pool, etc. Unfortunately, it was difficult to absorb it all in as we arrived late in the evening and had to go to the airport at 6:45. a.m.

It's the little touches that count

Very enjoyable stay at The Dunmow Guest House as we were attending a wedding. Good location close to main high street (10 minutes). Nice Indian across the road. Great hosts and great facilities - swimming pool and home cinema. Highly recommended.

"Dunmow" Done Good

It's rare for us to rave about a B&B but the experience was so pleasurable. Attention to detail is the answer plus the cinema room, the fantastic swimming pool, the pub-style games room. No need to sit in your room all night although we did because the large bedroom was so nice and comfortable. Add a dollop of genuine, sensitive hospitality and you've got the picture.

Excellent stay at Dunmow Guest House

My recent stay at the Dunmow Guest House was an absolute delight. Ruth and Robert were attentive and looked after us very well. The facilities were great, wonderful swimming pool, cinema, games room and our room was beautifully decorated and a perfectly cooked breakfast. Our only regret was that we didn't stay for 2 nights. Highly recommended guest house.

Wow factor

Amazing place Amazing hosts anything was no trouble. The cinema was a special facility. The pool was good. The room was comfortable slept like a log. What a great find will return no doubt.
