"I found communication a bit slow and posted information on reception desk hours contradictory. I worked out--reception desk was open past 5pm for my 7:15 arrival but I was stressed the whole way from the airport and St George's Quay on foot that I would not make it. I tried to call but using the information presented me could not connect via my USA iPhone. Probably something stupid I was doing but perhaps look at that information and see if it is the best information for travelers from outside...

"It was a great location, although it’s outside the main stream Dublin it is so easy to get around via bus or train. The apartment was nice and spacious and it was great to have a full size oven with four burner hob. The kitchen/dining/living room combo was great. Having the washer & dryer in suite was great. "It's just a student accommodation thats been opened up for use during the summer. It's a nice area. Felt very safe and has some food and shopping nearby. Probably a 20 minute walk from the station and city centre. The accompdation was nice, modern and comfortable. Not as good as a traditional hotel and definitely not as quiet/sound proof. "I have never had an issue communicating with a property using Hotels.Com but that was the case with Griffith Hall. The person who registered us said that it was a common issue for them. In the end, things worked out but it could be a problematic issue. The residence is just that a college residence. Don't expect a regular hotel experience. And be prepared to use public transit to get anywhere or walk a lot. It is not in a central location."

"We were surprised by the check in process. You have to collect your keys quite far from the apartment. So plan for a delay to use transit or a two-way taxi fare. The apartment was dirty. Mould in the closet. The beds were terrible (one like an air mattress & the other was hard as a board). The pillows were so used they were hard packed. The air freshener system is needed because a sewage smell came from one bathroom. The photos used to advertise the unit were not the same as the unit we stayed...

"The apartments were amazing, the only disappointing part was we had booked them as they were on temple bar, the apartment we booked was getting renovated so we were moved to 2 apartments which was a half hour walk or 20 min taxi ride so incurred extra charges for ubers"

"There should be a door to the toilet/ shower not a shower curtain .
