Hotel Dekat Dormers Wells Leisure Centre

"When booking this hotel, the descripting said "microwave and refrigerator in room". Also "access to the communal kitchen" was mentioned. I chose this hotel specifically because I needed a microwave and a refrigerator IN MY ROOM. It was a big disappointment to arrive and check in and not to find microwave or refrigerator in my room. The "communal kitchen" was there as promised but it was rather dirty, not well maintained, not convenient to use. The staff was very friendly and helpful....

"Convenient location, decent sized rooms. Decor is tired. The second night of our stay was spoilt by very noisy people in the room next door in the small hours. Also, disappointing that weekday breakfast ends at 9am, with staff clearing up and hovering straight after. For leisure travellers, 9 am is too early"

"If you just need a bed for the night it’s ok but don’t expect a lot. If you can actually find your room through the maze of corridors you’re doing well. Opening the door to our room we were met by a very strong smell of cigarettes, very off putting. Room was a decent size for a family of 3 but the beds were solid as a rock. My back the next morning was in bits, at one point I considered sleeping on the sofas in reception! The bathroom was dirty and good luck if you’re in room 238 and want to use...

"Not a pleasant atmosphere. Property very old . Bathroom stinks, shower leaks and sink blok. Have to change room on the second day which was ok ok not that great. Try to avoid if possible. Only good thing is the staff very helpful."

"A good enough spacious room with a comfy double bed, suitable wardrobe and a nice desk. The bathroom was quite clean and the shower worked well. Our room had two windows for maximum daylight and it opened for sufficient ventilation. As we were in a busy high street the room didn't have a great view! Overall we got a good value deal for 3 nights! Many nice restaurants and shops nearby. Also Southall station is about 20 minutes walking distance from our hotel!"

"Sadly would not come back. My allocated room already had someone in it when I tried to get in. Give the staff their dues, they moved me to another room straight away. I was told free parking on site, we received a parking ticket for the time we were there. Still waiting an explanation "

"Great hotel with very comfortable clean rooms. Lots of nice areas to sit and relax with a drink and a very nice beer garden where we had freshly made pizza which was delicious. We stayed two nights and Harry and the team gave great service and very friendly. Breakfast was great too. "

"The location was good. However Internet connection was non-existent during my stay. The staff were not helpful as they referred everything to a manager who was never on site. It caused great inconvenience. I could not work from the room. Apart from Arham, none of the staff attempted to provide any updates. Service needs to be improved and I am surprised by Expedia’s 4 star rating. No s as prologue or compensation was offered!"

"My only recommendation is for some better upkeep on the building itself. Lots of scuffs, scratches, non-working outlets, and showers that all of a sudden become boiling hot. The staff were amazing!"
