Hotel Dekat Donyngs Leisure Centre

"Hotel is easy to locate and convenient for access to motorway (M25) and into Reigate centre where I found a car charger and a curry house and other shops. Reception were welcoming, had to take luggage and golf clubs up a flight of stairs then to end of corridor, no lift I could see. Inconvenient but wouldn't be great for someone with less mobility. Room was a good size, bathroom clean. Shower gels etc provided as was tea, coffee, biscuits. All was dated in appearance though, from downstairs bar...

"Arrived at a pitch black compound with no lighting, had to rely on my phone's flashlight. My son FELL DOWN in the darkness. Called the service number for help and was basically told 'other guests managed, so you should too'. Not only is this unsafe, it's unacceptable customer service. Very disappointed and would not recommend."

"I booked online for my family of 6 with 4 small children. They woke us up in the MIDDLE of the night to tell us we had to many kids in our room and we would have to get a second room. My children were all happy sharing 2 twin beds top and tails. I just wish someone would have mentioned it at check-in while we were ALL standing there. So it doubled our cost and I had to stay in a hotel room without my husband and oldest son. Not family friendly or enjoyable. At all. "

"This would have been the perfect place for my overnight stay before collecting somebody from Gatwick airport early the next morning. However, it was a cold night and the heating was not on. When I called for assistance at 21.30 I was told that somebody would check the boiler and that it was on a timer and should come on soon! Nothing happened, although the hallway and passage ways were heated. I turned the knob as requested to no avail and nobody saw to it that the heating was on. I froze all...

"The owner collected us from the airport bus station, £15 for the 3 of us. Our room was adequate with 3 beds however the shower room was very good. Looked like it was recently refurbished. One issue was the shower head was loose. The room temperature was decent and the beds clean and comfortable though new pillows are needed as they are pretty thin. Also the scatter cushion covers need a wash. The location is great for Gatwick Airport and a reasonable price. "

"Do not book the hotel shuttle as the receptionist/driver may argue with you about the collection time even though it's pre booked. Order a Uber or get a taxi using an app to get a discount. There was someone using power tools till minutes to 11 pm then several people were traversing through the hallways up until midnight.
