"The staff were fantastic and lovely, even with the language barrier. The suites with private pools are not private in any way. They state that they speak English and Turkish, unfortunately that wasn’t the case for our two nights. Maybe it’s because it’s not high tourist season, but probably best not or advertise that if is not the case. Overall its concept is great but just doesn’t quite hit it, which is a little disappointing considering the cost of the suites. "

"Wonderful hotel thoroughly deserving of 5-stars. Staff were superb, room was amazing, and location perfect - straight onto a quiet beach for swimming, and a lovely 10 minute walk into the town centre. Customer service was perfect and the hotel staff work so hard to please. Breakfast was excellent. Lovely hotel, lovely place, wholly recommended. Thank you! "

"Beautiful small hotel. Fantastic pool. Spacious well equipped room with amazingly large balcony (4) and fantastic view down to the sea, Great Turkish breakfast. Restaurant menu limited, early in season, but food good. The hotel is situated up a very steep drive. It is built on several levels. It should be noted that there are steep irregular steps linking them. You need to be fairly agile to negotiate them. "Oğul Bey, the owner was unbelievably hospitable- his English is perfect and his love for Datça is contagious. He is a great resource, a wonderful host and a fabulous cook to boot! Highly recommend stopping by if you are ever in the region. "

"We stayed at Deniz Hotel at the height of tourist season for a few days in late July/early August. I would highly recommend it for anyone travelling to Datca. It has an excellent location next to Kumluk Plaji and it is also within walking distance of Taslik Plaji (which is better in my opinion). The service at the hotel was really exceptional, particularly providing assistance with parking behind the hotel, which was crowded as it was high season and in general with small requests and questions...

"If this hotel included access to the beach, it would be perfect! But for the price, it is excellent: our room was ample, light, and clean. The staff was warm and helpful. It’s near the ferry and bus. And, though the Turkish breakfast is the same every day, it’s fresh and healthy. I make one suggestion: provide chairs, umbrellas, and towels for guests who want to visit the beach, even if there’s a small charge. "
