Got flat tire from something in there parking lot due to the construction being done. Huge stains on carpet. Waffles tasted sour like the mix was old or worse

Front desk staff was great, the pool was great. Two negatives were the temp in the room, (it felt like the A/C was on and we couldn’t get it warmer) and the jets in the hot tub didn’t work.

My room was switched to a single queen without my knowledge when I booked a room with 2 queens. I was charged the same amount even though I was getting a down graded room. The room was clearly not cleaned well because when we opened up the sofa bed it had a stained sheet that had blood or food stained and was crusty. When I tried getting a partial refund the manager was super rude and made it seem like it was my fault even though they were completely booked out so they couldn’t even switch my room. Also the hotel is under construction which made the stay even more difficult to get any help from the front desk. I will not be coming back due to the clear lack of sanitation and cleanliness and the professionalism of the hotel staff!! Still trying to get my partial refund since the hotel manager refused!!

The room was clean. Although, the cord was broken. Couldn't call front desk. The hair dryer did not work. There was mold inside the ice bucket holder. We always stay here. Its our home away from home. We were not satisfied this time. Please put the Bibles back in the drawers. Some dont read them and thats there choice but what about the ones that want to. Its unfair. But with all that I've said I pray for a blessed day to all staff!!

We were not aware of the construction. There was hair on the shower wall. The phone was broken. We tried to call the front desk on our cell phones without any answer. The desk in our room is very wobbly. Chipping paint in the bathroom. No notice of breakfast times. No kleenex in the room. We would have moved but we were too tired.

Staff support was lacking because the OWNER won't let them do anything - he's in Chicago and they have to call him for every little thing. I'm due a refund as I checked out 3 days early - still waiting. The staff is nice, but their hands are tied and they do not follow through, which I believe is a result of the owner. I'll go to small claims court if I have to. Hotel is in midst of renovation. The hotel is tired, has stains on the carpets, in the rooms - just not pleasant. Carpet is worn; bathrooms dirty. I repeatedly told the Front Desk that I wanted to change the credit card I would be using, but they did not listen and charged the original card - which is why I'm waiting for a refund. They did NOT listen, insisting only the owner can approve. How do you operate a business if you don't trust the very employees you hired? SO FRUSTRATING. I'm also disappointed with Expedia and will not use them anymore. The lack of support is disheartening.

It would have been nice if, when booking, there was an indication that the hotel was under construction. There were signs posted in strategic locations apologizing for the dust, noise, etc, but also there was a severely limited breakfast due to construction. It just would've been helpful to know ahead of time, in which case I would've booked somewhere else!

While it ended up working out, when we arrived we discovered the hotel had our reservation for a week later than had been entered on the expedia website. Both nights we stayed the desk attendant was not at the frint desk unless called for. Room was nice but the hotel was undergoing remodeling so the hotel was a bit messy in some areas.

I booked two rooms. The first room was good but the second one didn’t have no heat so they gave us a space heater. Which I guess is ok but then during the night I had to get up and turn it down. Where if the heat worked I could of put it on the temperature I wanted.

Room was not clean, was moved to another room. Entered the next room, didn’t have a mattress in the sofa sleeper. Was told to take the mattress from room 217 on my own, was handed the card. Shouldn’t have to move mattresses and rooms when paying for a stay.

The staff during check-in was spectacular,especially those at the front desk and the lady that was caring for the buffet. Awesome! but something in the room while I was asleep,bit me so I think the rooms may have some issues with bugs. it was kind of a scary scene a few days later. I definitely had an adverse reaction. Also I was not able to take any shower And that wasn't necessarily the hotel's fault but at least be empathetic to those staying at your hotel when people can't even use hot water. There was no even phone call to advise me that was going to happen or that it did happen. I am disabled so for those of us that have a hard time getting around it was very inconvenient. The breakfast buffet was VERY good. I'll be the first one to admit that construction is never a convenient thing, but I just feel like maybe the staff....there could have been more done to be more protective of the guests during what is obviously an upgrade to the hotel. I just don't feel like I got good value for the money that was spent even though the good was very good, but was offset by terribly bad. Thank you for the time.
