"We had a great stay with our kids! The pool was definitely a favourite. There are basketball hoops and a variety of pool toys to keep everyone busy. My kids were asking to come back again before we even left!"

Overall was great, room had little touches like the little duck on your bed, still having a pen and notebook etc. The room was very clean, but a few small things needed maintenance (eg the swinging lock latch was broken). The pool looked excellent, big with fun looking slides although was full of families so we didn’t bother using it, but would be excellent for kids. Breakfast was sub par. The gym was impressive, with weights as well as several nice machines...

To improve: blinds are definitely not blackout, which is challenging in spring when the sun is up early, and when your window faces the parking lot with extremely bright floodlights. Unfortunately it was raining two nights and there was a dripping sound outside the window that was so loud it sounded like someone was popping microwave popcorn in the next room. "There was some sort of sports event happening for youth. It was loud for a bit, but I appreciated the fact that the noise was quiet before 11:00 p.m. the A/C worked great, especially on a really hot day."

"Our two consecutive stays were disappointing overall. The rooms appeared only somewhat clean. During our first stay, the towels had hair on them, and the comforter felt itchy. In both stays, the bathroom lacked a tissue holder, and the face and hand towels were dirty. The linens also did not appear to be properly cleaned. Additionally, the shower door needs maintenance, as it does not function properly. The pillows were another concern—they were small and quite uncomfortable, which made it...

They have a wonderful restaurant for breakfast and the best thing is that it is located around everything, shopping at Polo Park, excellent restaurants and a movie theatre, not far from the Zoo and many parks. I have stayed there for many years and couldn’t be happier with the location that is close to so many wonderful things to do in Winnipeg and their rates are very reasonable."
