"Unfortunately hot tub was closed first night of stay. Still took in the pool and the sauna. 2nd night hot tub was back on and the tropical pool regained it's former glory. Real tropical plants! Someone should really fix that sauna door though. "

"It was a good stay. But can hear everyone else in their rooms when walking through the hallway. Older hotel with upgrades. Pool layout was awkward for sitting to watch the kid's in the pool. Price was great, we would stay again. It was quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Not to mention the great sleep I had."

"Vahid and No. 5 east are just a sheer delight! The house is lovely, breakfast was great, and Vahid is so welcoming and cheerful. Only minor complaint is that, in the winter, if you aren't in a car, the nearest restaurants and shops are a bit of a walk, especially if it's winter."

"Very limited parking. Had to use a lot about a block away. Also coffee machines in room are not good. If you want a morning coffee you’re told use machine or go to nearby coffee shop. That shop coffee is awful. So if you want to relax in the morning with a coffee this isn’t the place to stay. Otherwise nice location"

"Great room for an overnight stay. It is nice and clean. The floors are cold as they are not carpeted so bring slippers. We have stayed a few times. It is conveniently close to U of M."

"Our overall stay was good. There is ample parking. We stayed on the 15th floor and the carpets were fairly dirty (crumbs or food noted) outside the rooms, but inside was fine. Convenient location that requires hotel key to enter the building, which is nice! Due to it being downtown there are lots of emergency vehicles driving by with sirens frequently (4 times on one night, but that’s just how it is downtown in big cities). The ALT hotel bathrooms are always a little unique (not good counter...

"This hotel is an absolute dump. Cochroach filled rooms / rooms outdated and smell horrible. Manager is refusing to refund me for my stay and didn’t seem surprised when we showed them the photos and checked out early. Save your money and stay somewhere else!!!!!"
