"Fantstic large room, with a great view of the Tori at night. Reviews we read had us worried the hotel would be too old, however we found that while some of the finishing around the room (mainly wood surfaces) are a bit older, the general experience and hotel are quite current and renovated. The location is fantastic and the amenities are great, would definitely stay there again. As a side note, the island is pretty "quiet" at night, so if you are arriving late, definitely plan to stay the next day at least for lunch, since you will probably arrive as everything is closing down and will miss it if you leave early. "

"Best view on the island over Miyashima. Rooms are super clean and comfortable. It is an older hotel, but well worth the money. I recommend staying two nights so you can enjoy the island and not be rushed to do everything in a single day."
