"We loved the opportunity to relax in beautiful surroundings. We got to watch elephants drinking in the nearby waterhole in the dark and see the impalas jumping around. We enjoyed splashing about in the pool and listening to the elephants drink as we sat around a camp fire. Unfortunately the lodge needs some refurbishment and the staff weren't as hospitable as we have found in Zimbabwe. Our shower didnt work properly so we had to use another chalets shower. The kettle we were given had the wrong...

"A couple of hiccups at the start but staff and management rallied and made the stay very enjoyable. The service from everyone was first class. I can personally recommend the breakfast! Fantastic buffet, eggs poached to perfection and best cream donuts in Zimbabwe! Convenient location allows walking around cbd and great to park the car off the busy streets."

"This perfectly located hotel within walking distance of the Victoria Falls National Park has beautiful grounds (with antelope, baboons and, one night, a hippo), warm and helpful staff, delicious food and a beautiful pool. A shuttle was available to take us to its sister hotel (The Palms) to use its small but well equipped gym. Highly recommended."
