"Good rooms, lovely spa, good breakfast and the lady on reception couldn’t have been nicer of more helpful."

"Have to say the staff were good and very helpful and I have no problem with anyone working at the hotel. The atmosphere within the bar area was quite poor and the tv remote was broken so couldn’t watch sports. The main issue I had with the hotel was the music piped in through the obviously knackered speakers which as so distorted it was painful to listen too. We actually had to ask the breakfast staff to turn it down and they agreed it was terrible. Until this is resolved I can’t see myself...

"Location was good and also the matras was ok. The Bath and furniture were dated, Bath rust and mold. View from the window on garbage from hotel. We had lots of flies in the room. The TV was not working properly (bad receipt most channels). No soap and shampoo at shower (both empty). No cleanup room and clean towels for 2nd night. We paid for breakfast but was poor. On tables outside in the morning they left all the bottles and glasses. They are not looking after the place. Much much too...

"The room was big with a well stocked tea tray. It was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good with a buffet style hot selection at the weekend and made to order hot choices weekday. The staff were welcoming and friendly."

"Very good food..massive portions. Could have done with more vegetarian choices though. Some work being done on one of the bedrooms near ours. Staff helpful"

"We had the perfect stay. The Owls Nest was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. From the comfy bed, hot tub and the Webber bbq all made it so relaxing. Dog friendly which was a bonus. Jenny & Margaret were great hosts. We appreciated the special touches. We had such a lovely time that booked to go again before we left. Highly recommended."
